How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time …

It’s week four (also the final week) of my diet and I am happy to report that things are really looking good.

Not only has everyone started noticing my more slender physique, but I also needed to start wearing a belt!

The changes in my body are not drastic, but it is enough to give me courage to continue my healthy eating habits long after this diet is over.

After week four we are encouraged to make healthy eating choices and these past three weeks made it a lot easier to say no.

I still do miss junk food and will probably always have a weakness for doughnuts … but for now, I am only focussing on myself and my health.

So as I sit here and stare at the apple that I still need to eat, I remember back to the first days of my diet … I thought it was the end of the world and that four weeks will take an eternity!

And here I am now, almost at the finish line!

I have a sense of accomplishment within me and it feels great!

How can I sum up these past few weeks into a catchy phrase? Easy … just keep on keeping on!

Until next week, take care of yourself Krugersdorp.
