I cannot stress enough how important it is to save water. But I fear that the restrictions are falling on deaf ears and those responsible for wasting water is not necessarily residents but in fact our local governments.

Everywhere you drive you see water flowing from somewhere.

Just this past weekend I noticed a stream of water running down the street in our neighbourhood and when I followed it to the source, I came across a leaking pipe.

I immediately phoned the municipality, but no one answered.

I felt so useless and mad at the same time.

My husband and I are really trying to save where we can but why does it seem like the very people who enforce these restrictions do not adhere to it themselves?

It just baffles me that living in 2015 we still do not see the importance of water conservation.

Where is it going to end?
