Just show some respect, that’s all

A hot topic of discussion in most countries I would presume is the fact that gay marriage is now legal in the USA.

One might also recall the Facebook campaign doing the rounds where users change their profile pics to a colourful rainbow-like background.

Our intern here at the News decided to invite readers to voice their opinions on the matter.

Some are welcoming the gesture with open arms while others are saying that being gay is wrong based on their religious beliefs.

I say that as human beings, no matter what religion you follow, we are not allowed to judge one another based on skin colour, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.

Some may not agree, while others try to find fault, but at the end of the day we all just need to support one another, regardless. In this day and age we can all use it.

We can all use some humanity too.

We will be judged in our afterlife and our actions will be held against us.

I surely do not want to be on the receiving end of a bad judgement call.
