Today I realised how short life really is.

The one minute you are happy, living your life, making plans and dreaming big … and then the next minute you are involved in a car accident and die.

For those who believe, your soul will continue living in the afterlife and for those left behind, only heartbreak and sorrow remains.

They say the moment right before you die your life flashes before your eyes, like a sort of replay of the life you lived. Do you think this is true?

Headlines all over the world are filled with tragedy, pain and suffering.

Thousands have died in Nepal after a devastating earthquake while here on local grounds thousands are mourning the death of a beloved teacher who was kidnapped and brutally murdered.

In Krugersdorp an accident on Robert Broom Drive left a community grieving in search of answers.

Out of all the tragedy happening around the world, one question remains, why did it happen?

No one truly knows the answer, but perhaps knowing how short life really is, you will start to think differently.

Take care of yourself Krugersdorp, and of each other.
