South Africans will be celebrating Freedom Day on 27 April. We are lucky enough to celebrate that day as a public holiday.
Numerous Freedom Day celebrations are being planned for the day.
How ironic.
We are celebrating our freedom and democracy while some kill innocent foreigners who came to this country with the same beliefs.
Horror images of people being necklaced, stoned and gutted with knifes are all over social media.
The world is taking interest.
How will I celebrate my Freedom Day? I am not sure yet.
But I am definitely thinking about how I will express my freedom in this country.
We should all remember “let him who is without sin cast the first stone”.
