So this Saturday is Valentine’s Day … excited much?
Come to think of it, I am not really that excited because it is just another Saturday for my husband and I.
But if he did decide to get me something, what would it be?
Perhaps some new slippers, chocolates, a dinner date or even a bottle of perfume?
I doubt it, not that my husband isn’t romantic, its just that Vday is so commercialised that the true meaning of love has been removed.
Vday is not just for couples in love, it is for everyone…you can share the day with a special friend, your significant other or even a parent or pet. Its about celebrating real love in all shapes and sizes.
You know what would be a real treat for me?
If my husband does all the cleaning, laundry and cooking on that day!
But then again…he always does most of it anyway.
So every day is Vday for us!
