I always try to make something good of a bad situation, but lately it is becoming much harder.

Everywhere you turn you are reminded of the crisis our country is in.
With Eskom on the verge of switching off our lights and water disruptions being scheduled, the only good news to really talk about is cricketer AB de Villiers’ great success this past weekend.

How do you stay positive in a country full of negativity?
I would really like to know? Do you exercise more, or bury your sorrows in a bag of Dorito’s?

Do you switch off by not watching the news on tv, by not reading my newspaper every Wednesday and by choosing to rather listen to CD’s while driving to work?
I am going to take a wild guess and say that South Africans are probably some of the most stressed people in the world.

And I am beginning to understand why…
