Silverstar Casino in Muldersdrift soon will be living up to its slogan – Be Entertained.
After many months of hard work and dedication Silverstar is pleased that they have completed their long-awaited R560 million redevelopment project and is even more excited about being the West Rand’s latest entertainment hub.
Shane Collinson, Silverstar general manager met with the news to explain all the excitement that is waiting for residents of the area.
He says everyone is invited to come and see what they have to offer and to experience first-hand how they are living up to their brand of entertaining their guests.
“We have made Silverstar more family orientated. We want to be the local hangout spot for residents of Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and Randfontein.”
He says for years Silverstar mainly has been a casino with a few restaurants; but now they are ready to welcome people of all ages to enjoy themselves.
“The complex is ready to host you. You now have the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful refurbishment at several of the new restaurants – some a first for the West Rand – offering delicious meals that you won’t find anywhere else.”
He says they have chosen and partnered with these exclusive restaurants to give the West Rand something different from what they get elsewhere.
“When we decided to attract the local market we knew we needed to give our clientele something different. That is why we have taken a step further to ensure a different and new experience.”
Collinson says he knows very well that people love spending their hard-earned money on entertainment and that is why they will be offering entertainment that people would want to pay for.
“We also know that parents want to know their children are safe so we made sure our facility is a safe environment for all.”
At the new drop-off zone parents will be able to drop off their energetic teenagers to have fun at the Magic Company, playing ten-pin bowling, getting laser tagged or watching a movie at the newly launched Movies @ Silverstar.
Collinson says their intention is not to build the next Sandton in Krugersdorp.
“We are very price-conducive to the Krugersdorp market. We saw what the West Rand needed and planned around meeting those needs.”
Silverstar invites West Rand residents to join them at their grand opening on 13 November from 10am until late.
“There will be loads of entertainment for the whole family, culminating in a unique laser show performance by The Parlotones. Tons of prizes also will be given away throughout the day,” says Collinson.
“We are looking forward to entertaining you and being the premier gaming destination. We have promised that we will be offering this and therefore ensured that we live up to that promise.
“I am proud of our offering, and hope that you will be too,” concludes Collinson.
