The horrific death of the man who tried to jump on a moving train really got me thinking about how rushed our lives really are.

Of course the situation is very disturbing and many would argue that if the man had some common sense he might still be alive.
I disagree.

We don’t know what this man’s situation was at that time that made him jump towards a moving train. If he missed that specific train he might have been late for work and fired.
How many of us do the same thing … not exactly with a train, but with our cars.

We are late so we drive a little faster, dash across orange traffic lights or accelerate as soon as the light turns green.
We also put our lives and those of others in danger, just like that man did.

We all need some common sense, no matter what the situation is.
