Is winter coming this year, Krugersdorp?

Our church’s minister said something to me the other day that has been floating around in my head for the last couple of days.

Does winter only come during weekends?

As I look through my wardrobe of what to wear, I wonder, what will today’s temperature turn out to be? It might be cold now, but later it’s boiling hot again.

Why has the simple task of choosing what to wear become such an inconvenience?

A small part of me wishes winter will come and go and another small part of me hopes it stays so that I can cover up my ‘imperfections’.

The weather forecast for the weekend says that winter will officially knock on our doors in the next few days.

I will say welcome to winter and embrace it with a warm hug…perhaps that is all we need; more warm hugs.
