Three podium spots for Krugersdorp Bowling Club
Three KBC teams won podium spots at the recent Colt and Fillies Tournament against teams from the entire Johannesburg Bowls Association.
Krugersdorp Bowling Club (KBC) experienced some remarkable achievements in their backyard during the recently hosted Colt and Fillies Tournament.
According to KBC spokesperson David Parker, two men’s and one women’s trips teams won podium spots. The women’s team took bronze while the one men’s team bagged silver and the other gold.
“The men’s trips team who took silver consists of Johan van der Berg [skip], Ken Bishop and Cobus Smith. The women’s trips team are Debbie Phillips [skip], Barbra Minnaar and Charne van Staden while the gold winners are Robbie Pikent [skip], Lee Barnes and Juan Hammann,” David said.
He added that during this tournament, players from all over the Johannesburg Bowls Association competed including Ekhureleni, Bowls Gauteng North and Sedibeng.
“KBC is extremely proud of our podium winners,” David concluded.
