Young ace on his path to glory

Cole hopes to become South Africa's next elite tennis player.

Cole Joyce is just one of the many youngsters in Krugersdorp who continues to excel in the activities that they participate in and display great talent and massive potential.

The youngster, who attends Laerskool Muldersdrif, has recently won the Noordheuwel Club Tennis Championship performing beyond his expectations as he continues to set much bigger goals in his development.

Cole has been playing tennis since the age of four with continual coaching. He is very passionate about tennis and is always going the extra mile during training, preparation and matches.

Noordheuwel Tennis Club held their tennis club champs recently with a seniors and juniors category. Cole played in the junior category which comprises U10 to U15 players. There were four rounds and he made it to the final winning two sets by 6-4, 6-3 and this made him the youngest junior champion for the club.

Cole’s coach Ruhan Dominicus from Dominicus Tennis Academy is very proud of his player’s achievement and hopes they will take more steps forward in his development.

Cole plans to retain his number 2 Tennis South Africa ranking in all future age categories and play in the International Tennis Federation Tournaments and eventually turn professional and play in Association Tennis Professionals tournaments worldwide.
