Curro Primary hosts interhouse for new year

It was a sunny day filled with some good competitive sportsmanship during Curro Primary School's Interhouse athletic meeting recently.

On your marks, get set, go!

Curro Primary Rangeview hosted their primary school interhouse on Saturday, January, 14 where learners from Grade R all the way through to Grade 7 participated with parents watching and cheering on from the stands.

According to Curro Primary Rangeview Sport Director Kelvin Bekker, the day was eventful and saw 21 records being broken.

“There was new talent, new faces, some old faces too but also many records were broken,” he said.

Grade R’s participated in the 60m to 80m sprints and for some of the Grade 1’s this was nothing new as they have done it before.

“It was cute to see the kids running from start to finish some looking around with parents waiting for them at the finish lines.”

Interhouse was a day filled with sun, cheering laughter and great sportsmanship among all those who participated both on and off the field.
