Although it has been a long time, Krugersdorp Bowling Club had one of its best seasons in the men’s section during the Sables 2022 League Season.
According to club spokesperson David Parker, the last time Krugersdorp Bowling Club won division one was in the 2010-2011 season.
The final placings are as follows:
• Division one: Winners
• Division two: Winners and third position
• Division three: Runners-up
• Division four: Winners and fourth position
• Super 4’s: Runners-up

David said the ladies section are in a rebuilding phase and have a lot of new members being sorted into their team combinations.
“Watch them this year,” said David.

Krugersdorp Bowling Club also had three women and four men selected to play for Sables in the Gauteng Challenge later this month.
In his New Year message, club president Trevor Leader expressed his thanks to all the members for their great team spirit in making Krugersdorp Bowling Club the club that it is.
“The league results were a fantastic end to a great year. The president is proud to being able to serve a great club and looks forward to a wonderful 2023.”
