Ofentse Mabaso, the team’s consistent left wing goal scorer, said Moses is a fantastic coach and trains them well.

Asked why he loves playing this specific sport, Ofentse said it creates a positive distraction from poverty.

“Soccer gets kids off the streets. It represents the strength within you.”

One of the school’s under 19 players qualified for the Orlando Pirates team and Moses aims to lead his players to further success.

The Tsogo Sun League’s closing match will be in September in Swanieville, Kagiso.
