Is Mogale City taking our complaints seriously?

Chris Schoonwinkel from West Village writes:

I am convinced that the Mogale City Local Municipality must rank among the worst of the worst.

Anybody trying to complain to them about anything should agree that trying to swim in lava will yield better results.

Finding the right department to complain to is a mission in itself and once you have found the relevant department, officials will do their best to redirect you to another department as it seems they just do not want to take responsibility. The second problem is to find the right person to talk to and seemingly officials have developed the ability to avoid responsibility at all costs by trying to direct you to someone else.

Forget about getting an acknowledgement of your complaint in any form, as it just doesn’t happen.

Why can’t Mogale City have a central office where complaints can be made and registered, and where you can get a reference number so that your complaint can be followed up?

Or do best business practices not apply in Mogale City?
