Residents have fond memories of the Krugersdorp Game Reserve (KGR) – the game drives, the restaurant and other activities such as the play area and swimming pool.
But what is the exact current situation at the KGR?
The question keeping residents on their toes is when the game reserve will be reopened.
Mogale City Local Municipality communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu said the KGR will reopen once a suitable private partner has been found, which is as per the public-private partnership (PPP) process.
However, the Krugersdorp News was recently invited by some representatives of the council to see what is going on inside the KGR.
