A woman lost her life following a fatal crash involving her light motor vehicle and a truck at the corner of the R563 and N14 in Oaktree earlier today, September 17.
According to Sterkfontein Emergency Medical Services (EMS) station commander André Raijmakers, the crash was called in at about 11:40.
“A truck had collided with a light motor vehicle. We suspect the person died on impact. The truck driver had no visible injuries,” Raijmakers said.
The News is currently on the scene where Public Safety is controlling the traffic.
According to Raijmakers, the police will investigate the cause of the crash.
