West Rand Health District extends operating hours at several clinics

Two clinics in Mogale City have extended their operation hours as of September 2.

West Rand District Health Services wishes to inform the community that selected Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities in the district have extended their operating hours.

According to West Rand District Health Services communication officer Nomagugu Hloma, this is to improve access to healthcare for residents who cannot visit clinics during regular working hours.

“Several clinics will now start operating for extended hours as of Monday, September 2.”

The selected facilities with new operating hours are as follows:

• Mogale Sub-District (to operate from 07:30 to 18:00 during weekdays and from 07:30 to 13:00 on Saturdays):
Fanyana Nhlapo Clinic
Dr Martinus Ramirez Clinic

• Rand West Sub-District (to operate from 07:30 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 07:30 to 13:00 on Saturdays):
Ya-Rona Clinic
Westonaria Central Clinic

• Merafong Sub-District:
Carletonville Central Clinic
Thusanang Clinic
