Chaos on Paardekraal as two separate crashes occur – six injured

Motorists are advised to avoid the area following two separate incidents near the busy intersection.

Two separate incidents occurred at the Paardekraal Drive and Voortrekker Road intersection at about 10:30 this morning, September 3.

According to Assistant Superintendent Ben Molokele from Mogale City’s Public Safety, who was on the scene, the two are completely separate and unrelated from each other.

“The first incident was between a truck and a light motor vehicle. Two people sustained minor injuries with light damage to their vehicle. The second one on Paardekraal Drive across Key West Shopping Centre was a truck that lost control and hit a tree, with its load falling onto a passing vehicle. There were four minor injuries reported,” Mokoleke said.

The scene is under control and the traffic is being redirected.
