#MandelaDay: Youth centre in Kagiso to be renovated
The organisation invites the community to spend 67 minutes at the Miehleketo Outreach Programme Youth Centre in Kagiso.
In the spirit of celebrating Mandela Day, the Miehleketo Outreach Programme Youth Centre in Kagiso will be renovated.
Residents and local businesses are now invited to participate in the 67-minute outreach which will include a variety of activities.
“In the spirit of giving back, we invite people to come and clean at our youth centre. We also ask for assistance with donations like stationery for office use or even sponsoring a youth programme for the disadvantaged young people of Kagiso,” said the youth centre’s communication officer Kabelo Sono.
“We as the Miehleketo Outreach Programme acknowledge that many people love to give back to the community. As a youth centre, we are all about assisting the youth with services and programmes that benefit them not just now, but in the future,” Sono concluded.
