Non-visible road sign reason for crash in Kd’p North
Crash involving two vehicles due to non-visible signs and clear road markings says councillor.
A crash at the intersection of De Wet and First Street in Krugersdorp North on May 18 has raised serious concern.
According to ward councillor Aletta van Loggerenberg, eyewitnesses reported the crash involved two vehicles, one of which failed to stop at the intersection.
She added one of the drivers did not see any visible sign or clear road markings to indicate they should stop.
“It’s a disgrace. We’ve been begging the council to fix this intersection for months. How many people need to get hurt before they take responsibility? The only reply we got from the municipality was that it was receiving attention,” claimed Van Loggerenberg.
