The market that entertains after dark

Once a month Cradlestone hosts a night market which is a great outing for family and friends.

Cradlestone Mall’s Night Market has a lot to offer the community when the sun goes down and the latest of its kind once again did not disappoint.

Since 2017, there has been plenty to do to spice up your first Thursday of every month between 17:00 and 21:00 thanks to the market. Stalls, live music and entertainment, food trucks and craft beer are just a few of the attractions at the market.

Last Thursday, the local band Lemon and Lime Light performed for marketgoers, which added to the atmosphere of fairy lights suspended across the exterior of the market.

Organiser of the event, Louise van Tonder said that Cradlestone gladly hosts the market, as it contributes to small local businesses, creates a sense of community, and that it is a fun occasion for friends and family to enjoy and take a mid-week breather to relax and socialise.

First-time marketgoer Rihan van Niekerk said that his first impression of the market is the friendly atmosphere and outgoing people.
