Heavy vehicle rollover at busy intersection: Two trucks involved
A journalist reporting from the scene says two trucks are involved, one transporting maize meal and another a pawn shop delivery truck.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes following a truck crash at the Paardekraal Drive and Luipaard Street intersection.
Various emergency services including the West Rand Fire Department, Mogale City Public Safety even security companies responded to the scene.
Journalist Kea Mojaji, who is reporting from the scene, says two trucks are involved, one transporting maize meal and another a pawn shop delivery truck.
“The truck transporting meal rolled over. For the moment, Paardekraal Drive going toward Kagiso is closed as well as roads heading to Magaliesburg and Boltonia,” Mojaji says.
Resident and eyewitness Milton Mafeasa told the Krugersdorp News that the trucks collided which led to the rollover.
The News has approached emergency personnel for comment on the scene who did not want to comment at this stage. However, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
