A night of song and dance at Foresight Church’s Carols

Foresight Church recently hosted its annual Christmas show which saw a twist as this year it was bigger and better.

The Foresight Church welcomed the festive season with a cheerful ‘carols in the countryside’ theme on December 1 in a bid to raise funds for the church while also entertaining the community.

The church hosted its annual fundraiser and has decided to go bigger and better with an event that had something for everyone which saw the outdoor venue beautifully decorated in true Christmas style.

Family and friends from all walks of life showed up in scores to unwind after the long week and were patrons to stalls that sold food and refreshments to the masses who enjoyed the serene countryside sunset.

The evening aimed to infuse life and excitement into the Christmas season and provided a safe environment for families and friends to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and engage in the fun of modern contemporary (and traditional) carols.

According to Karabo Ramookho, the administrative support official for the church, the event also aimed to emphasise the importance of community engagement and fostering new relationships which encouraged face-to-face interaction. In a world dominated by digital communication, the evening served as a reminder that the true magic of the season lies in the warmth shared with those around us.
