Mr and Miss UniCollege crowned, James Bond-style
This year's UniCollege pageant was one for the books, hosted at the glamorous Silverstar, where 450 people were cheering on the contestants.
UniCollege has crowned their fabulous Mr and Miss UniCollege in spectacular Casino Royale fashion.
The glamorous event took place last month at Silverstar where 450 members of the audience cheered on their favourite contestants.
Jackie Loots from UniCollege explained that the event shone the spotlight on the talents, style, and unique personalities of their students.
“The competition presented a unique opportunity for the contestants to become proud ambassadors for UniCollege, nurture their self-confidence, conquer their fears, and believe in themselves.”
Dalien Steenekamp – a former Miss Randfontein, as well as a model-turned-director together with Rodney Prins hosted the evening and entertained the audience throughout.
At the end of the night, Business Management students Megan van Zyl and Collin da Korte were crowned UniCollege royalty.
CMH West Rand, GWM & Haval, the principal sponsor for the evening, generously contributed R10 000 to the event. Other sponsorships included vouchers, gifts and cash contributions.
