A clinic to serve your every need

The Luipaardsvlei Clinic is open to the whole community and has many services on offer.

The community turned out for the Luipaardsvlei Clinic’s annual open day, which was a fun-filled day in the sun.

Chairperson of the clinic committee, George Thapelo told the Krugersdorp News that they host an open day for the clinic once a year where the whole community and different departments from the clinic join to spread awareness.

Some of the departments that attended were the West Rand District Oral Health Services, the Mental Health Department, the School Health Department and dieticians. They were open to talking to the community and handing out pamphlets to create awareness.

Jacob Mojaji from the clinic did the official opening and told the attendees that when a community member has a health issue they should know that they can come to the Luipaardsvlei Clinic.

Looking after your mental health is Shannon Fynn and Moss Moleofe.

He further explained that some of the services they offer include vaccinations for mothers and children, HIV testing and counselling, and social as well as nutritional services. They also have doctors who come into the clinic to see patients on Mondays and Thursdays.
