Rotary Club invites community to bingo evening to raise funds for charitable efforts

Rotarians of Krugersdorp to host Bingo evening to raise funds for the community chest.

The Rotary Anns of the Krugersdorp Rotary Club are hosting a bingo evening to raise funds for well-deserved charities in the Krugersdorp area.

This club has been in ‘service above self’ for the past 85 years. The West Rand Chamber of Business and Tourism is assisting the club to get prizes.

President of the club, Lynette Musgrove says that prizes will be awarded to the winners in this exciting event.

“To make it successful we will need prizes to the winners in each game played, and also for lucky draws. We would like to thank you sincerely for the donations and support. All funds will be used to support the needy in our communities”.

The Rotary International brings together a global network of volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.

Rotary connects 1.4 million members of more than 46 000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work improves lives at both the local and international levels, from helping those in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world.

The bingo evening will take place on November 4 at St Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, 26 Amajuba Street in Noordheuwel.
