Ngwenya Glass Village welcomed the public for Heritage Day celebrations recently.
What was a market filled with creative art and craft work, delicious food, fun activities for children, and other entertainment, many embraced the opportunity to showcase their culture and appreciated the public holiday with family and friends.
Despite the poor weather, this never stopped visitors from enjoying themselves as a family. It was the best place to look for presents as there were many vendors selling items from paintings and bracelets to beads and sculptures – something that could perhaps bring that much-needed von sway to your home’s interior.
Many people celebrated the day by remembering the cultural heritage of the many cultures that make up the population of South Africa.
