One and all enjoyed Springbok Day at Witpoortjie Retirement Village.
On September 15, the retirement village got their residents excited for rugby with a braai of pap and wors. From Feedem Group catering, Adri Nel explained they are responsible for feeding the residents and each month they decide on a theme. With the rugby world cup craze this month, they decided it was a great opportunity to get the residents excited. For dessert, they had cupcakes decorated with green and gold.
“I think the residents enjoy the fact that something special is being done for them and we do it because we have love in our hearts, it’s the Feedem way. We do not want to get something out of it, we just hope to give,” Adri said.
