‘Mommy, please come home’ – family of missing mother of four

With her youngest being only 10 years old, the children of a 42-year-old woman are desperately begging for answers to find their mother.

The family of a missing woman, Nyaswa Elizabeth Mehlomakhulu, known as Nashwa, from White City is searching for her. They are not only worried about her health but her children desperately miss her, the youngest of the four being only 10 years old.

In a desperate plea for her mother to return to them, Paballo Mehlomakhulu wrote to the News asking for help.

Nashwa went missing around June 9 or 10 after being discharged from Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital. She was admitted for kidney failure and was allegedly admitted during the middle of May but was unconscious for a week before she could contact Mehlomakhulu on May 26.

“Mommy, please come home we need you in our life, without you [it] is not easy. You disappeared after getting discharged and we have no idea how your health is. We are still young, Amo misses you and he cries [himself] to sleep every day.”

Mehlomakhulu last saw her mother on June 2 when she visited her and the last time she was seen was by her boyfriend at the time when she was getting her medication at the Jabavu Clinic in White City.

Nashwa rented a place in White City where she lived with her three children, 15-year-old Lesedi Mehlomakhulu, 18-year-old Neo Mehlomakhulu, and 10-year-old Amogelang Mehlomakhulu.

The last time she was seen she was wearing denim pants and a blue shirt. She has a tattoo of a rose on her back near her shoulder and a gold front tooth. Mehlomakhulu said they believed she was near Pinehaven or Silverstar and that her mother enjoys drinking and sometimes would get seizures when she was drinking and smoking.

The 42-year-old Nashwa speaks IsiZulu, Sesotho, Xitsonga and Setswana and is 1.72m tall. She has a medium build and is around a size 36 or 38. She has black eyes and short hair which has shades of grey in the front. She is dark-skinned and has a pointy nose.
