Young rising entrepreneur overcomes obstacles to start thriving business

A youngster from Munsieville shares his inspirational story on how his very own challenges led to him starting a business that is successful today.

Njabulo Joy Dlamini, a young entrepreneur from Munsieville who runs a small business from his home, has a bright future ahead of him.

He hopes his story will inspire many of his peers in the community and that his resilience will teach the youth an important lesson.

The year 2020 will always be known as the year Covid-19 entered our lives but what also started brewing on the West Rand was a youngster’s entrepreneurial dreams. At the time during the pandemic, Njabulo like many others was experiencing difficult times as he desperately looked for ways to support his family.

He then started a very unique brand called Muns-Drip – a clothing brand that has an authentic style only known in the community of Munsieville. Njabulo runs his shop online from the comfort of his bedroom, however, he intends on making it big soon.

His main inspiration and source of strength will always be his family.

“My dad keeps me going not only because I am his son but because he has always believed in my craft and skills,” said Njabulo.

Despite the support he has gained in his community and the success of the business he still considers everything to be a learning process.

“As an inquisitive person, I am self-driven by the fact that creativity will make the world a better place. I learn as I get better,” he said.
He spends every day reaching the community and hopes to inspire young people.
