Kagiso Ext 13 to experience low water pressure

The municipality has informed residents of Kagiso about water pressure being temporarily low.

Water Services and Human Settlements personnel of Mogale City, together with the appointed service provider, will test the functionality of the newly constructed 5-megalitre water reservoir planned for the Leratong Housing Development Project today, August 21.

According to Mogale City Local Municipality’s communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu, residents of Kagiso Ext 13 (Ward 5) and surrounding wards may thus experience low water pressure between five to 10 hours as a result.

“Although we do not anticipate this work will result in a water supply interruption, we appeal to residents to use water sparingly and restrict consumption for household use to avoid possible supply interruptions. In case of necessity, water tanker trucks will be made available to affected wards.

“We thank you in advance for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience that this drawdown testing may cause.”
