Expired goods seized at Azaadville warehouse: Two arrested

Two men were arrested for contravening health regulations after police raided their warehouse.

Expired food and date stamps were seized during an early morning warehouse bust in Azaadville.

A statement from Captain Solomon Sibiya from the Kagiso Police said at about 01:30 this morning (November 17), members of the West Rand District’s K9 Unit were patrolling when they noticed a loaded truck travelling on the R41 near Chief Mogale.

Police stopped the vehicle which was filled with goods. The driver explained that they were on their way from Mpumalanga to Azaadville to deliver stock.
