Teen girl arrested for possession of drugs and ammo

Police raided a young woman's room and found the weapon and ammo.

Kagiso Police arrested a 19-year-old girl over the long weekend for having drugs and ammunition.
This formed part of the disruptive operations they conducted with other law enforcement.

“Police in Kagiso consistently wage war against violent crimes and the removal of unlicensed firearms from the wrong hands. Crimes like possession of drugs, dangerous weapons, gender-based violence, and rape are also given the necessary attention,” said spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya.

“We also find that heinous crimes emanate from abuse of substances and drugs.”
