The latest incident report released by EPR Security shows that damage to property and theft were a problem in Mogale City once again between July 11 and 17.
The report shows that there were eight incidents of theft reported to the company in that period as well as six incidents of damage to property. Seven break-ins, two robberies, two vehicle thefts, two open doors and two cases of intimidation were reported. One hijacking was also reported to the company.
Most of these incidents took place at residences, and Noordheuwel, Rant-en-Dal and Vlakplaas were top of the list with three incidents occurring in each of these areas.
The Krugersdorp CBD again topped the list with four incidents.
On the company’s Facebook page they explained that on the morning of July 15 reaction officer Volkwyn arrested a man for a break-in at a premises on Otto Street, Krugersdorp North. The man and the implements found in his possession were handed over to the police for investigation.
