Team Rage takes home the gold
Two Team Rage 2 kickboxers participated in the SA Kickboxing Championship late last year and walked away with big wins.
The Team Rage 2 Kickboxing team from Krugersdorp West made their town proud again during the South African Kickboxing Championships held in Pretoria late last year.
Sensei Fred Lourens and student PJ Brits participated in the SA Kickboxing Association and World Association of Kickboxing Organization affiliated event and were among the 12 Central Gauteng fighters to walk away with medals.
Sensei Lourens received one gold, one silver and one bronze, while PJ received one gold and two bronze medals for the light contact and light kick events.
“We’d like to invite people from Krugersdorp West and surrounding areas to come and see what we are all about. We also do Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and this year seems to be off to a good start with our first event on February 5,” Fred said.
