Those fed up with gender-based violence will have the opportunity to show their support during a peaceful walk to be held from Orient to Magaliesburg on Saturday, 1 August.
According to Oefentse Raphael, a concerned citizen and one of the organisers, “I’m worried about gender-based violence cases being reported about on a daily basis.
As the youth we will partake in a peaceful walk of between 6km and 7km to raise awareness about rejecting and reporting abusers in all societies. Lockdown regulations will be adhered to.”
