Vehicle rolls to avoid taxi: Woman injured

Reports from the scene indicate the driver of the light motor vehicle swerved to avoid crashing into a minibus taxi – Netcare 911.

A woman was injured when her vehicle rolled on West Village Boulevard in Luipaardsvlei yesterday (1 July).

The accident took place at about 8.30am.

According to Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson, reports from the scene indicate that the woman, who was also the only occupant of the vehicle, swerved to avoid crashing into a minibus taxi.

“She sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene. Once stabilised, she was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.”
