Hike the Koppies:
18 NOVEMBER — Join in on a guided group tour through Melville Koppies Central of up to three hours. The tour sets off 8.30am sharp so please arrive well in time. Park in the upper parking area at Marks Park, Judith Road, Emmarentia, then walk across Judith to their entrance. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. Children must be over six years old. Sorry, no dogs allowed. Strawberry-picking
21 NOVEMBER — Join the University of the Third Age as they go strawberry-picking at Tangaroa Strawberry Farm and enjoy lunch in the garden under the trees. From there they will visit the neighbouring Van Gaalen Cheese Farm to learn how cheese is made, taste some cheese, enjoy delicious Dutch apple cake and have a choice of Dutch products to buy from the store. Golf Day
27 NOVEMBER — Join Rhema West for a day of sunshine and fun with fellow golfers and special guests. Whether you are a serious golfer or a casual hacker, we are keen to spend the day with you. The very first Rhema West Golf Day will take place at the Krugersdorp Golf Course. Format of play will be a Shotgun start at 11.30am and costs R2 500 per fourball. Cost includes a goodie bag, green fees, two carts sharing, a halfway-house voucher and dinner where there will be an auction and prize-giving. For R2 000 you can sponsor a hole.
