The Second Chance Foundation held a career expo for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students at Westcol Krugersdorp Central Campus on Wednesday, 22 August to expose them to career opportunities well beyond their studies.
Dr Kwazi Zodwa Magwenzi, CEO of the Foundation, said the non-profit organisation is based in Protea Ridge, and its primary purpose is to offer comprehensive and holistic approaches to the development of the youth in South Africa, particularly in the area of preparation for the world of work, skills training and work placement.
These programmes focus on leadership, management and everything else these students need to be ready for the workplace.
