Who needs a gate?

A Krugersdorp resident no longer needs to use her gate after an accident destroyed her garden wall.

The driver of a bakkie lost control, spun through an intersection and hit a brick wall after being hit from behind.

According to eyewitnesses, a reckless young driver came speeding down Third Street, and was unable to slow down in time. He then hit the bakkie which spun out, and ploughed through a residential wall.

The driver of the bakkie has lost his livelihood, as his destroyed vehicle was heavily laden with bread and other groceries. Eyewitnesses say that his bakkie was all that he had. The other driver drove away with minor damage to his vehicle.

Local authorities were on the scene, and the local CPF treated the minor injuries.
