Roman's Pizza delivered pizza to the children at the Deo Gloria Soup Kitchen in Munsieville.

A local pizza outlet teamed up with the Deo Gloria Soup Kitchen to give the children at the soup kitchen a Friday that they will not soon forget.

The soup kitchen feeds almost 200 children a day, although the numbers often fluctuate day to day.

As part of their 67 minutes for Mandela Day initiative, Deo Gloria collected blankets for the children, and also treated them to popcorn and pizza.

Roman’s Pizza at President Square stepped in to supply over 70 pizzas to the children at the soup kitchen, as well as some of the other children of Munsieville, who had gathered nearby to see what was happening.
