A case of murder has been opened at the Krugersdorp Police station after an argument between a husband and wife allegedly resulted in a murder.
The body of a 29-year-old woman was found on the floor the couple’s home in Marico Street at 10.30am on 10 July.
“It is alleged that the couple had an argument before the incident,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
On arrival at the scene, police arrested the husband, who had blood on his hands, on charges of murder.
The 30-year-old suspect is currently detained in the Krugersdorp Police station cells and will appear in court this week.
