West Rand well represented at the SA Awards

This vibrant radio presenter has been in the media industry for the past 10 years

Mogale City’s Centenary Hall was the place to be as the inaugural SA Awards were hosted there recently.

These Awards are a new initiative that will bring everyone in the entertainment industry together on an annual basis.

Some of the nominees were radio presenters from Energy FM, Thetha FM, Alex FM, Kagiso’s Westside and Mogale FM.

Tholang Lebelo, a radio presenter from Mogale FM, was the overall winner of the night as he was the only nominee who won two awards; one for SA Best Radio Presenter of the Year 2016 and the other for the program he hosts (Dithoriso) which was awarded SA Best Radio Program of the Year 2016.

Tholang’s name is fast becoming an important one in the broadcasting industry in South Africa. Tholang resides in Swaneville and is a skilled, versatile and anointed Gospel radio presenter. His presentation is always accompanied by the tangible strong presence of the Trinity.

This vibrant radio presenter has been in the media industry for the past 10 years and has mingled with some of the up-coming and well-known artists in the country. He has interviewed various people, ranging from CEOs to comedians and other public figures.

Tholang was also awarded Best Radio Presenter at the Ingoma awards in August 2015 and was nominated for a SABC Crown Gospel Award last year.

At the end of May, he will be attending The Trumpet Africa Gospel Music Awards at the State Theatre, where he hopes to be selected as the Best Radio Presenter in Africa.

Tholang hosts his show every Sunday from 6am to 10am. Dithoriso is a lifestyle magazine program that keeps you up to date with activities on the Christian calendar.

From the News team, “Congratulations Tholang!”
