Months after the body of a half-naked woman was discovered among the graves in the Burgershoop Cemetery, two suspects were finally arrested last night.
The arrest was made by the Krugersdorp Trio Task team after the half-naked body of an alleged prostitute was discovered on 8 January lying between the graves at the cemetery.

“Krugersdorp police were deployed to the scene and found the body in a pool of blood. The victim sustained head injuries and it seemed as if she was hit with a large object on the head,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
The two male suspects were arrested in Kagiso, where they reside, last night at around 10pm. The victim was identified by some of her friends on the scene that night.
Mashale confirmed the arrest and will release a statement in due course.
