Domestic worker spots suspects on the run

Two suspect were chased down the street after they were spotted making a run for it.

Two male suspects were arrested and handed over to the police after they were spotted fleeing down the street in Wentworth Park.

Community Policing Forum members of Sector 4 responded to a call out after a domestic worker heard a window break next door.

The worker immediately informed the owner of the house who reported it on the CPF’s two-way radio system.

Meanwhile as the suspects made their way down the street, they were spotted by a resident’s driver who immediately gave chase.

The driver managed to stop and apprehend the two suspects, who were heading down Timber Street.

On arrival at the scene, CPF along with EPR armed responses noticed the broken window in the front of the house which the one suspect managed to gain access from.

A few minutes later a reaction unit from ADT and a patrol vehicle of the Krugersdorp police arrived at the scene.

The two suspects were handed over to the police who were taken to the Krugersdorp police station.
