Noisy neighbour murdered

A noisy neighbour was found dead after residents got suspicious of the peace and quiet.

When a noisy neighbour did not disrupt the peace like he usually did in the mornings, his neighbours became suspicious and found his body in a pool of blood in his shack.

The Krugersdorp police were called to a murder scene at Bashee Street in Munsieville after neighbours found the victim dead in his shack at 8.43am on 5 January.

“On arrival on the scene, police were informed by the witnesses that they became suspicious when their neighbour, who normally wakes up early in the morning and creates a noise with music, were not seen that morning. They further explained that they called his name and when he did not respond, they entered his shack. They were surprised to find him lying on the floor in a pool of blood,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.

Upon further investigation police found that the 26-year-old victim was lying on the floor with a stab wound on the back of the neck.

The victim was certified dead by the paramedics on the scene shortly after.

“A murder case was opened and at this stage the police need assistance in establishing the reason for this senseless killing.”

Krugersdorp Police is appealing to the community of Munsieville to help with information that can help in the arrest of the suspect/s involved in this crime.
