Muldersdrift wins best CPF in Gauteng

Muldersdrift crime fighters awarded for their dedication.

The Muldersdrift Community Policing Forum (CPF) along with police received an award for being the best in Gauteng.

As a testimony to the excellent work the Muldersdrift CPF and police have done over the last two years, they were awarded with the trophy for the best CPF Sector in 2015 in Gauteng earlier this month.

Muldersdrift Station Commander, Colonel David Seabi, was also praised for his hard work and was voted first runner-up in the Man of the Year category.

“Earlier this year Muldersdrift came out tops in the West Rand in terms of the crime stats and achieved a National rating of first place for Crime Prevention out of more than 1 100 stations,” Mike Francisco, Security Spokesperson for the Muldersdrift Communication Action Group, said.

Current CPF Chairperson, Johan Nell, applauded both the previous chairperson Jorncy Page and his team and David Seabi for this outstanding accolade.

Former Community Policing Forum chairperson for Muldersdrift Jorncy Page awarded for fighting crime.

“This is due to the dedication shown by the previous committee. As the new team on the block we have some big shoes to fill. Therefore I would like to propose a slogan for Muldersdrift CPF, Together we can do better. If we all work together, we can build on this legacy and make our police station the best in the province next year and our chief in charge, Colonel Seabi, The Man of the Year. This will not be an easy task but I challenge each and every one to contribute to make this a success story.”

Both Seabi and Page will now go through to the National Awards hosted later this year.

Muldersdrift Station Commander, Colonel David Seabi applauded for his leadership.
