Another vehicle on its roof at infamous bridge

It seems like every week a driver overturns his vehicle at this infamous ditch. When will the situation be addressed?

Yet another overturned vehicle was found in the early hours of this morning at the infamous bridge at the ditch behind a local night club and restaurant.

Members of the Sector 5 Community Policing Forum (CPF) received a call for back up at around 1.40am.

The driver of the vehicle was travelling along Commissioner Street towards Krugersdorp West when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crash landed on its roof.

Could alcohol have played a roll in this accident?

CPF members, Netcare 911 and local authority rushed to the scene where they found the critically injured driver trapped in the wrecked vehicle.

The man had to be cut out of the car with the ‘Jaws of Life’ before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment for serious injuries sustained.

Bystanders told the News that paramedics worked on the patient for quite sometime before stabilising him to be transported.
